Wednesday, September 10, 2014 On Thursday September 11th the Huntington Manor Fire Department will be holding two services to remember the events and victims of the attacks on our country. The first service will be held at Fire Headquarters starting at 7:45 AM. This service will last to approximately 10:28 AM the time the second tower fell. A candlelight vigil will be held at 7:30 PM at Peter Nelson Park on Oakwood Rd. Peter was a Huntington Manor Fire Chief and also a member of F.D.N.Y. Rescue Company #4 who made the ultimate sacrafice that day. All members of the community are welcome to attend either or both services.
