Manor firefighters responded to a fully involved detached garage fire Friday evening on East 2nd Street. Firefighters from Engine 3 were able to quickly knock down the fire before it was able to spread to any exposures. We were assisted at the scene by firefighters from Huntington and Greenlawn and the Huntington Community First Aid Squad provided an ambulance standby. Town of Huntington Fire Marshals were on scene to determine the cause of the fire. Chief Jon Hoffmann was in command of the scene.
